The KStrong® BRUTE™ Backer™ LE Dual 8.5 ft. Cable Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL-LE) Assembly offers advanced fall protection for workers in environments lacking overhead anchor points or working near leading edges. Designed as a twin-leg retractable shock-absorbing lanyard, it delivers enhanced mobility and continuous safety without compromising comfort.
This assembly features robust galvanized steel wire rope (3/16” diameter) with an option for stainless steel wire rope for added corrosion resistance. Each leg terminates with a stamped steel scaffold hook (PN 167), while a shock pack and twin SRL connector at the harness attachment end ensure smooth energy absorption and secure connection to the dorsal harness D-ring.
The ultralight, durable plastic casing keeps the system lightweight and discreet, making it almost unnoticeable on the user’s back during extended wear. The swivel anchorage eye enhances freedom of movement and prevents twisting of the lifeline during use.
