Designed for overhead lifting and rigging are our Grade 100 Four Leg Chain Slings terminating in Sling Hooks with spring-loaded safety catches otherwise known as CM Clevlok® Herc-Alloy® hooks .

Available in a number of custom lengths and can is fitted with Grade 100 Chain Shorteners (grab hooks connected to the top master link) to enable chain leg length adjustment when lifting different sized loads with varying centers of gravity.

Optional Chain Adjusters are an optional extra (please call 713-489-5335) which enables easy in-the-field chain length adjustment for each of the four legs of the chain, the chain adjusters are CM Grab Hooks and are fitted to the top master link , this allows the user to hook the desired chain link into the grab hook and temporarily shorten the chain length, this can be reversed by simply unhooking the chain link from the grab hook. Individual legs can be adjusted according to the load.

Clevis Type Fittings as you can see from the image to the left of the Clevlok hook, lower hook components are connected via a 'clevis' type pin (instead of chain couplers ), this direct form of attachment is often preferred by our customers since it requires fewer components, resulting in a lighter overall sling weight and fewer components which means less maintenance and lower cost. Tagging & Traceability is important not only to manufacturers but to every customer. Purchasing a lifting chain without proper identification can cause issues for inspections and maintenance as well as traceability. Each of our CM Herc-Alloy Chain Slings is complete with a heavy-duty identification tag that provides the item, serial number, length, and working load limits.
