Installed on the wire rope of a Tirfor®\/Griphoist® or Tirak® hoist, the Blocstop® BSO helps protect loads in the event of hoist or wire rope failure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003eWhen an overspeed condition is detected, the Blocstop® BSO automatically engages and locks onto the wire rope, stopping uncontrolled movement and securely holding the load. When mounted on a separate secondary safety wire rope, it provides additional protection should the primary suspension rope fail.
