Swivel Hoist Ring Installation

The bolt and/or nut must be tightened with the right toque recommended in the user manual. Codipro recommend using a calibrated torque wrench set to the ring toque value and that you should avoid any abrupt tightening. For mountingin a smooth hole you should provide H7 adjustment. The chamfer lead should be approx. 0.5 x thread pitch. The complete ring flange must be in flush contact with the load it is installed in. Every swiveling part must stay moveable in every direction without meeting any obstacles. Before every lift, ensure that the ring is in the direction of the lift and is free of any obstacle.

Check Dimensions & Lifting Capacities

SF = Safety Factor (Design Factor), this is the safety ratio included between the WLL of the lifting point and it's breaking point, example- if the hoist ring is rated at 0.07t @ 4:1 it would break if stressed to 0.028t. (Note- you should never use your Hoist Ring beyond the rated WLL and the factor of safety exists for the purpose of safety and not for the purpose of increased capacity.

WLL = Working Load Limit, the rings should never be used beyond the WLL (this varies per the SF you choose to use in your lift)
