The 10 ft. Megapod Rescue Kit is a robust and versatile solution designed for rescue operations. This comprehensive kit includes a tripod (UFT510010), a 60 ft. 3-way Rescue Retrieval SRL-R with mounting bracket (UFS310060R and UFT510010B), and a convenient storage bag for the tripod (UFZ810020) for easy transport and organization.
The Megapod design features an adjustable height range from 76.69” (1.95m) to 115.35” (2.93m), achieved by sliding telescopic legs. Locking pins are securely attached with stainless steel cables, ensuring stability during use. The tripod is equipped with eyebolts for safe connection to personal protective equipment and includes a two-pulley system, allowing simultaneous use of a winch mounted on one leg and a retrieval block on the other. Preinstalled mounting brackets on the legs make it easy to install compatible winches and retrieval systems.
Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, the Megapod legs are anodized and powder-coated for long-lasting performance, while the head is finished with powder-coated black aluminum alloy. The locking pins are made from electropolished stainless steel for enhanced durability. With a load capacity of 310 lbs. (500 kg) and a weight of 52.42 lbs. (23.78 kg), this system meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.18-2017 TYPE A standards, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
