The steel-forged revolving head is specifically designed for convenient connection to Slingco line pulling swivels, providing a practical and secure attachment during cable installation. Suitable for bare or insulated cables, conductors and wires, these versatile grips are particularly effective for underground cable pulling projects where dependable performance is essential.
Engineered to withstand substantial pulling forces, Slingco's R Type Cable Grips are available in eleven sizes to accommodate cable diameters ranging from 0.25" to 4.00" (6mm to 102mm). With approximate breaking loads ranging from 7,000lbs to 48,000lbs (3,175kg to 21,772kg), they provide a wide selection of pulling capacities for different installation requirements. Each grip features a colour-coded identification system, allowing installers to quickly select the appropriate size for their application. The revolving head assists with connection alignment but does not rotate under load or replace a dedicated line pulling swivel. Combining high-strength construction, versatility and ease of identification, these grips offer a reliable solution for professional utility, electrical and underground cable installation operations.
