Designed for demanding construction, industrial maintenance and temporary access environments, EP III blocks incorporate a specially formed flange that performs two important safety functions. It helps protect hands and fingers against entrapment around the sheave while also enabling limit detection when used with suitably equipped hoists. An easy-access opening system simplifies wire rope installation, helping reduce setup time without compromising operational security.
Durability is built into every component. The EP III combines a hard-wearing black PA6G polyamide sheave with high-strength S690Q steel flanges, creating a robust yet practical assembly for repeated use in challenging working conditions. For an enhanced safety margin, each pulley is designed with an ultimate load capacity of four times its rated Working Load Limit (WLL).
Available in five configurations - EPA, EPC, EPF, EPE and EPL - the range provides multiple anchoring solutions to suit different installation requirements. Options include axis mounting for restricted spaces and hook-mounted versions incorporating safety latches for secure connection.
