The Tractel TU32 Griphoist®/Tirfor® is a heavy-duty manual wire rope hoist engineered for safe, reliable lifting and pulling in demanding industrial, construction, maintenance, and rescue applications. Offering an impressive 8,000 lb (4-ton) material handling capacity, the TU32 delivers substantial pulling power without requiring electricity or an external power source, making it ideal for use on site and in remote locations.
Designed for maximum versatility, the TU32 can operate horizontally, vertically, or at an angle and uses Tractel Maxiflex wire rope, allowing virtually any rope length to be used for longer pulls and higher lifts. Unlike conventional winches, the wire rope passes continuously through the hoist, reducing the need to reposition anchor points during extended operations.
The TU series features specially designed U-shaped jaws that maintain the cylindrical shape of the wire rope while providing excellent grip and pressure. This design improves mechanical efficiency, helps extend rope life, and contributes to the TU32’s exceptional strength and durability. The hoist is also designed for straightforward dismantling and reduced maintenance, making it particularly well suited to frequent and daily use.
